ques 36 Empty Chemical Properties of Compound P

P + propanol produce propyl ethanoate.

suggests P is a cartboxylic acid. Based on the name of the ester produced, P is actually ethanoic acid

P + propanol produce hydrogen gas.

Only B or D are possible answer.

But B is propanoic acid

D is the correct one!
